JOSÉ MERCÉ

Jerez-born singer from the Barrio de Santiago. José Soto Soto is the great-grandson of Paco Luz and nephew of Manuel Soto “Sordera”, patriarch of flamenco from Jerez.

diego carrasco

Guitarrista, compositor y cantaor del Barrio de Santiago. Diego Carrasco es «gurú del compás» y, además, current benchmark of the most avant-garde flamenco. 

paco cepero

Guitarrista flamenco nacido en el barrio de San Miguel. Ha escrito más de 800 canciones y marchas procesionales y, además, ha acompañado a las principales figuras del cante «jondo».

fernando de la morena

Cantaor del barrio de Santiago de Jerez de la Frontera. Aunque tardó en dedicarse profesionalmente al cante, ha sido máximo exponente del cante bulerías. 

Antonio gallardo

Poet, composer and photographer born in Jerez de la Frontera. He was the founder and director of the first Flamenco Academy in Jerez, as well as a member of the Royal Academy of San Dionisio and the Chair of Flamencology.
